Oil Recovery for Windows
The OilRec program generated the following graphs using an example file supplied with the program. In this example, the PVT data and production data and historical pressure data was specified for a pseudo-well that includes all the production for the pool. The example was taken from L. P. Dake, The Practice of Reservoir Engineering, Elsevier 1994, Exercise 3.3, pp.106-109.
	This is a graph of Oil Formation Volume Factor - Bo versus PVT Pressure. Along with other PVT properties, this is used to calculate the material balance pressure and any future recovery.
	This is a graph of the Gas/Oil Viscosity Ratio versus PVT Pressure. Together with the relative permeability ratio, this is used to predict the instantaneous GOR at any future recovery.
	This is a graph of the Gas/Oil Permeability ratio versus Liquid Saturation. This is used to predict the instantaneous GOR at any future recovery. This graph is also available on a log scale.
	This is a graph of the calculated Pool Pressure versus Oil Recovery. Also indicated are the abandonment pressure, and the abandonment oil recovery factor. In this example, 900 psia, and 19% respectively.
	This is a graph of the calculated Instantaneous GOR and the Cumulative GOR versus oil recovery. Also indicated is the abandonment maximum GOR and the abandonment oil recovery. In this example, 8400 SCF/STB and 19% respectively.
	This is a graph of the calculated Oil, Water and Gas saturation versus Oil recovery. Also indicated is the abandonment oil recovery. In this example, note that the Oil Saturation decreases from 57% to 28%, the Water Saturation is a constant 43%, and the Gas Saturation increases from 0% to 28% at abandonment.
